About Us

Cove Forge offers multiple levels of care for men and women struggling with addiction. We aim to help each individual who participates in our treatment find lasting sobriety.

Located among the woods and mountains of the Williamsburg, PA, countryside, Cove Forge Behavioral Health System is a residential treatment center for adults who are struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. For more than 30 years, our goal has been to help each recovering individual successfully achieve lifelong sobriety.

At Cove Forge, we aim to be a world-class organization that sets the standard of excellence in the treatment of addiction and other chronic behavioral health disorders. We value clinical excellence, integrity, open communication, teamwork, mutual respect, and passion for the work we do, and we work diligently to inspire these qualities not only in our staff members but in the individuals to come to us for help.

Levels of Care

We offer a number of different levels of care that are specialized to meet the needs of each person who chooses to heal with us:

  • Our detoxification program is often the first step in treatment and allows individuals to rid their bodies of harmful substances of abuse while under the care of our trained medical staff.
  • Our regular rehabilitation program helps individuals receive the support and the skills they need to live a life free from the influence of substances.
  • For those who are struggling with both a substance use disorder and a coexisting psychiatric disorder, our dual diagnosis program provides diagnosis-specific treatment. Whereas other dual diagnosis programs typically only provide one individual counselor, each person in our dual diagnosis program will benefit from regular therapy sessions with both a chemical dependency counselor and a mental health counselor.
  • Our partial hospitalization program is designed for individuals who are ready for greater levels of independence but still need support to achieve their goal of lifelong sobriety.

Our Success

While our comprehensive treatment programs are a significant strength, the true secret to our success lay in our dedicated and highly experienced treatment team. Our staff includes our American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM)-certified medical director, a psychiatrist, an attending physician, physician assistants, a 24-hour nursing staff, counselors, counselor assistants, case managers, and clinical technicians.  In addition, various team members have certifications in addiction counseling, dual diagnosis counseling, Choice Theory, Reality Therapy, and ropes and experiential therapy.

Those who come to us for care are encouraged to be an active part in their treatments. Each individual receives a treatment plan designed around his or her unique treatment needs and goals. With the help of our compassionate treatment team, individuals who choose to heal with us have the opportunity to develop skills that can help them overcome substance abuse, regain control of their lives, and pursue a healthier, happier, and more productive future.
