Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, visitation is no longer allowed at Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center.

  • Alternate methods of communication, including telehealth, are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

Cove Forge Behavioral Health offers leading outpatient addiction treatment programs for individuals suffering from the effects of addiction. We offer outpatient care at our location in Pittsburgh, PA.

Outpatient Overview

So as to afford men and women fully comprehensive chemical dependency treatment, Cove Forge Behavioral Health is pleased to offer high-quality outpatient services at our treatment center that are designed to complement the more intensive and structured programming options available. Therefore, if you are in need of such care in our outpatient program, you can participate in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) at our main campus in Williamsburg, or PHP, intensive outpatient (IOP), or traditional outpatient services at our outpatient location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Pittsburgh, PA Outpatient Program

In order for us provide the much-needed care in this program that men and women require to remain sober, we are proud to offer outpatient services in Pittsburgh as well. If this location is more convenient for you, you have the option of engaging in the following programs and services:

  • Partial hospitalization programming (PHP)
  • Intensive outpatient programming (IOP)
  • Traditional outpatient services
  • Music Performance Group program
  • Chemical Offenders Referral and Education class, also known as CORE

PHP at the Pittsburgh location involves several group therapy opportunities, medication management services, and individual therapy sessions, Monday through Friday. IOP offers individual therapy sessions with a member of our staff and group therapy opportunities with peers who are also working on their recovery at our treatment center. Traditional outpatient services provide individual therapy sessions so that you can check in with a therapist and work on your recovery goals for the present and future, and the CORE classes that are offered provide informative information about addiction, the consequences of abusing substances, and how to live a drug-free life.
